Lani is shocked when she breaks open the door and finds her father inside! At Whitley's Abe hears someone pounding on the door but can't move because of the drugs Whitley gave him. Jerry is rushing to finish packing so he can leave town when Steve starts to pound on his door. He even imagines that Paulina is a character named Sandra and remembers that they have a daughter. Lani asks what he means and he tells her the whole story, including the fact that Abe is alive and being kept drugged in Whitley's apartment!Ībe continues to watch Body & Soul and hallucinates that he is a part of it.
Jerry feels guilty and finally confesses to her that he made the whole story up. She tries to throw Steve's suspicions off of her by telling him that she saw Jerry outside of Abe's hospital room the day he went missing.Īt Jerry's apartment, Lani tells him that the family still has so many questions, especially since they never recovered his body. He assures her that it is standard procedure but she is still nervous. She is alarmed when he knows things about her past and tells her that the FBI did a background check on her when Abe went missing. She tells him that she is going back to Scottsdale where she is from to be closer to the family she still has there. When it comes time for Brady to sign he rips it up instead.Īt the hospital, Steve continues to question Whitley about her resignation. Later Brady brings it over to Kristen who eagerly signs it. Brady reluctantly agrees and Belle leaves to draw up a new custody agreement. Marlena tries to convince him, telling him that any judge would give Kristen some access to Rachel anyway and that it is the best thing for Rachel in the long run. Marlena relays Kristen's demands to Brady who bristles against complying. Kristen assures her that it will all be over soon and promises that they will have a tea party together later that day. After Marlena leaves, Rachel comes out and tells Kristen that she's worried about Brady missing her. She hypothetically agrees to tell Brady where Rachel is if he gives her joint custody. Belle tells him about Shawn's suspension for drinking on the job and Brady offers to talk to him.Īt the DiMera mansion, Marlena wants to know where Rachel is but Kristen tells her that she isn't going to say anything unless they revisit the custody arrangement.
He also reminds her that they have even teamed up at times. Brady assures her that Marlena is safe and can handle Kristen.
Brady tells her that Marlena is trying to reason with Kristen and Belle is alarmed by that.
